I have created a short invitation video to share among family, friends, and coworkers. Clients are Clifford Michaelson and Graham Walker, who have a strong Christian background. In the video and the letter, I have included a couple of elements used on the invitation letter, so recipients know they are receiving an invitation to the wedding. The main symbol is the dove with an olive leaf from the Noah’s Ark. On the video, I have replaced the it into a letter to a letter to represent their new life and they will be safe by being with each other. Also, since marriage has a strong connection within the couple and as a Christian, I have included a ring. The wedding ring represents between the 2 souls, marriage is meant to last a lifetime.
During the progress, I have designed an invitation letter for the newly married couples, they have a strong background of Christianity. I have applied graphics that relates with the bible such as the dove, cross, and the ring; the main colour is dark purple and gold. The struggle was to pick a reference from the Bible as well as the colour limitation. Having a cross does not support enough of the married couple’s background of their religion.
In the initial sketch, the majestic dove commanded attention on the front while the back lacked flair. However, after feedback, I downsized the dove to amplify its impact. To harmonize the design, I introduced delicate leaves on the reverse. As for the storyboard, I seamlessly integrated elements from the invitation. Striving for brevity, I opted for subtle animations to keep viewers engaged throughout the invitation video.
